Why replace missing teeth?

Losing one or more of your teeth creates a gap in your smile, affects your ability to chew properly, and can alter your diet and nutrition. In addition, tooth loss also leads to bone loss. When a tooth is lost, the jawbone beneath it shrinks from lack of stimulation. Not only does losing teeth affect your smile, it also changes the shape of your face causing you to look prematurely aged.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are quickly becoming the standard of care for tooth replacement. Dental implants bond with healthy bone and provide permanent support for dental crowns and dentures. They look and feel like natural teeth, and stimulate the jaw bone to prevent bone loss. With dental implants, healthy teeth are not compromised.

Dental implants can be used to replace one or multiple teeth. They can also be used to stabilize a poor fitting denture. Our patients have told us that their quality of life increased when they replaced their removable partial denture with dental implants.

Fixed Bridge

A fixed bridge is a restoration that replaces or spans the space where one or more teeth have been lost. It is bonded or cemented into place. Only a dentist can remove a fixed bridge.

Removable Bridge

As the name suggests, a removable bridge can be removed from the mouth to clean. It can be used to replace one or multiple teeth.
